Patrick Powers is a Property Tax Consultant at Michel Gray Rogers. He is responsible for property tax valuation and property tax protests, focusing heavily on hotels, retail and office properties, although he serves our clients on a wide range of property types.
Patrick studied at the University of California, Riverside, where he received degrees in Chinese Language, and Business Administration. In addition, Patrick was awarded the U.S. Department of State’s Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship to spend an academic year at China’s prestigious Peking University. He is fluent in Mandarin, and uses the language professionally. Patrick is a member of the Asian Chamber of Commerce, and the Greater Houston Partnership, which recently invited Patrick to take part in a trade mission to China to attract industries that can bring jobs to the Houston metropolitan area. That trade mission was a huge success, and Patrick’s ability to converse in both Mandarin and English was found to be a tremendous asset to the GHP delegation.
